Alyrica is a very talented cook who makes beautiful tasty recipes that people can make at home for their family and friends. For years she’s had a very successful recipe blog that features her own unique recipes.
The kitchen is her playground, so she loves the endless possibilities for creating a yummy meal! Growing up in North Carolina, she watched her family cook delicious meals and was eager to learn how at an early age. Her mission is to share easy-to-make recipes and craft food products with the finest ingredients!
Alyrica had a great idea for her own line of seasoning products, but she didn’t know how to bring it to life. She was stuck in the planning phase and needed help with branding, product packaging design, e-commerce website development and email marketing that would make her product stand out in the competitive spice and seasoning industry. She also needed help with setting up e-commerce email marketing to market her products to her existing blog audience.
Alyrica’s vision was very similar to the e-commerce brand development & website with created for Vicky Cakes Pancake Mix so, we were certainly up for the challenge.
And, of course, Sargent Branding was up for the challenge! Our plan was to first develop Alyrica’s brand identity with a southern-style logo and a fun color palette that reflected her personality. We chose to go use bright colorful circles and lines that provide a playful look and feel to the overall visual brand.
We then created custom product packaging designs for each of her seasoning products. A part of the packaging design was high-resolution realistic mockups.
We then created a Shopify website for Alyrica’s e-commerce store. The website contained product pages, shopping cart functionality, and a simple checkout process with multiple payment options.
To create the e-commerce store, Sargent Branding used Shopify. Shopify is an all-in-one e-commerce platform that provides users with a comprehensive suite of tools to help build and manage their online stores.
We utilized its powerful features to create a user-friendly and functional website for Alyrica’s Southern Modern Kitchen seasoning products.
Additionally, we were able to sync Shopify to Klaviyo so that Alyrica could quickly and easily send targeted and automated messages to her customers. This allowed us to provide Alyrica with a turnkey e-commerce solution that set her up for success!

Finally, we assisted Alyrica in setting up an email marketing synced to Shopify, which helped to build brand recognition and drive sales for her products through her existing blog audience and email subscribers.
To create automated emails and templates for Alyrica’s email marketing campaign, we used Klaviyo. Klaviyo is an all-in-one eCommerce marketing platform that helps businesses grow by building meaningful relationships with customers. It has powerful tools to help build targeted campaigns and segmented lists, as well as personalized flows that allow us to send the right message at the right time.
We created automated emails using Klaviyo’s drag & drop builder, which allowed us to easily create beautiful branded emails for Alyrica without any coding. Additionally, we were able to set up various email templates so that Alyrica could quickly and easily customize messages for her existing blog audience and email subscribers.
The result of the project was a successful launch of Alyrica’s Southern Modern Kitchen seasoning products. All in all, Alyrica trusted Sargent Branding with creating a successful brand presence for her seasoning products.
